I think we're booked at the El Dorado in June. All inclusive adults only. This will be my first trip, so I'm not sure what's good or not or what to expect really.
If it's El Dorada Royale, prepare for awesomeness.
Research the "all inclusive" part they are all different. If you are going to spend much time away from the resort on any excursions it isn't worth it to go all inclusive most of the time. If your going to camp at the same resort all week it may be worth it.
Took the family to Cabo last summer and loved it. Super cheap flights out of Houston. I think our tickets, round trip, where like $209 each. Crazy cheap Had a package deal and stayed at an all inclusive resort. Highly recommend.

Not sure I'm following this. You get unlimited food and drink at an all-inclusive resort. If you want to go camp out in a tent then don't book a resort. We do excursions all the time. Most of them leave early am and get you back around lunch. A few get you back later but I've never missed dinner from an excursion. And of course, a lot of drinks after dinner! I'm a huge fan of the all-inclusive.

Were not big drinkers and normally do several all day or 8 hour+ type outings. All inclusive rarely pays off for us. We like to try a lot of the different local places to eat and not be stuck eating at the resort 3 meals a day. We stay at nice resorts just don't use the all inclusive. Normally just the package that includes breakfast.
We spent 4 days at Ocean Maya. It was great, food was good, lots of activities, great drinks(nacho at the pool bar). All of the staff made our trip one we will never forget.
