Its not just Houston. Two years ago, my daughter and SIL were building their house just outside of Georgetown. They had a custom metal front door built and installed. Didn't hang for 24 hrs and it was gone, frame and all. Guessing the thieves may have been or had a tip from the installers, but no proof.
