I personally am thrilled that anyone my age could accomplish something like that. Yes, I am biased. But you can't argue with success. Hell, everytime somebody bumps another Yeti thread up to complain about them is just more free advertising.
I love capitalism. That's why I get out of bed in the morning.
I dont understand the hate toward Yeti either. Congrats to the owner. Yeti is a prime example of the American dream. I personally will not buy a Yeti but thats bc Im a cheap ***. Although, I do own a yeti cooler that was given to me.

Just curious, my buddy claims he was on a plane sitting next to one of the "guys from Yeti", and he said Walmart actually pays yeti a royalty on the brands they sell in Walmart, because they are manufactured by same people, just different name. Anyone else ever hear that? FWIW, the only yeti I own is a hopper that my son gave me for father's day couple years ago. I like it, but i never would have spent that much $ for it, cause I am too cheap

I don't know the guys but I m with you on this one - these guys created this niche in the cooler market which has blown up and all people want to do is dog on 'em about being expensive and a status symbol they are... I say congrats to them for building the brand and riding the value of the brand for as long as they have been able to do it... also glad other guys have come out with comparable coolers to drive the competition. Not to mention all the other products they develop that others just come and rip off as well - again I glad they exist as we all benefit from their ingenuity!!

Buying a Yeti is like the person that buys a jacked up diesel 3/4 ton truck and puts 40" tires on it with a set of chrome balls hanging from the receiver hitch and hasn't or never will pull even a 10ft trailer. All that does is show everyone that you have a small weenie and your nads are the size of BB's.

Just an old Igloo with leather hinges that I use for a fish box on my boat and a Walmart green Coleman for the deer lease.
I use a rusty 5 gal bucket to carry my junk in.
