Official 2017 surf fishing thread

Poco, what is the best/ most accurate way to determine how the weather conditions and surf conditions may be?

Here are the two links I use. Whatever swell info shows I usually add a foot to it and its pretty close. Only one time have I seen swell info way off and that was a SPI tournament weekend. It predicted and showed 1-2' and it was 4-5'.

It's not surf fish, but sometimes you've gotta wash the yak off in some fresh water.
Next fishing trip will be in the surf.

Not a bad couple of days on the sand. Things are looking great for this year. The warm water has a lot of summer time sharks near shore already. Spanish mackerel were seen already also.

Can't wait to be back on the sand. I'm planning on getting out there March 4/5, if anyone wants to hang out.

I did see him out there. He had caught a couple of 5' blacktips and a bull red when I talked to him.
