Appears that way, huh? As for me, I like hunting different places and it also affords me the opportunity to see areas of the Refuge i normally wouldn't. At $25 l, it's a lot cheaper than a lot of activities people waste their money on. Also get to meet some other TBHers. So there's that

Good luck brothers and sisters. I was out hiking in big mineral in early January and seen a ton of hogs in the first and second fields. I also seen a couple of nice bucks. Here is one I got a pictures of.

I wonder how many bow hunters there will be.

Meyers with 800 to 1000 acres seems a little small.

If 40 or 50 hunters are in Meyers it's going to be a little crowded.

My hunting buddy is leery of hunting in gun units, but I have an idea he will change his mind if we keep bumping into other hunters.

I tried to look back at previous year's results, and I thought I remembered reading that almost 60% were bow hunters

I am wrong about that.

The majority of hunters were gun hunters but I don't have percentages.

Found one of my old posts that indicated it was at least 60% guns. Probably more.

So there might not be more than 20 to 30 archery hunters in Meyers

Ended up seeing 5 does, over a dozen turkey's, and one dead pig in Meyers. And one dead pig in big mineral.
