It is a live oak. Neighbor is calling the tree guy we both used for trimming to get his opinion. Almost every house on the street has at least one or two oaks in the front and all of them are fully green now except ours. It does have tons of the green fuzzy things and some new leaves so I'm just hopeful it was the trimming that just delayed them a bit.

I have two live oaks that are about 40 feet apart. They "leaf out" about two weeks apart every year. If your has the tassels it's fine. Just a little slower than the others.

Was out of town all week and when I got back the trees were totally green and full of leaves. Guess I worried over nothing.
