I have a few Moore Maker knives out of Matador TX I couldn't be happier with them. Case trapper like everyone has said. Hen and rooster makes good knives or find a custom knife maker in your area or online.

Buck knives and the outdoor edge line. Nuff said.

I have had two of the Alpha Buck knife pictured on the bottom. The first one I broke the gut hook off and Buck replaced it. Between the two I have gutted (using the knife like a hatchet to chop through the pelvic bone every time), skinned and quartered between 400-500 deer. I like the weight of the knife for being quick and forceful and the wide profile from sharp edge to top of the blade for laying it across the ribs to cut out the back straps. I won't even attempt to use a knife without a gut hook to gut deer just because it is so much faster and easier. I literally one with the blade. Like most will say they like a small blade but I prefer old faithful.

Used to sell cutco as a junior in high school in the 80s. Great knives and still have several in the kitchen.

Our guide on our youth hunt in Sonora had one and it was great. His fingers can attest to the sharpness of it. He loved his. He was saying he preferred the smaller blades as well. Great guy who as literally hunted around the world.

I have an Alpha as well and that knife is scary sharp and easy to get scary sharp. Absolutely love it
