    Hog caliber question

Hey folks, as I continue to plan my hog hunting trip, I had a caliber question.
I have a 308 I will bring, but am also thinking about bringing my 204 ruger. It's a joy to shoot and crazy accurate, so would a 32 or 40 grain pill through the ear knock a hog down?

My go to is 22-250 now for everything. It always hits its mark.

Probably somewhat poorly phrased question. I'm by no means only planning on using the 204, but I thought it would be neat to add another animal to the list for it, assuming it was ethical. I'll probably try my bow for a good amount of the time.

This one was DRT with a .25 caliber 25.49 grain pellet from my Cricket traveling at a whoppin' 980 fps...

If you look close in the pic below, you'll see a little bloody spot right at the hair line in the lower neck. That where the pellet CAME OUT!! Yea, your 204 will be plenty good enough!

Don't have a clue why the pics are sideways, but you get the idea anyway...

I'll see if I can get a load that keeps it above 1000 fps

I think Keith Warren used a pellet gun head shot.
                      It's a HOG...
