Hog caliber question

[Big pig]

On a hog hunting trip I carry my .270.
Lots of times they are running or way out there.
Of course, I always shoot thru two on the first shot if possible.
And field shooting is the best way to get good with your deer rifle.
My longest shot was 413 yards with .270 and 130 corelokt. DRT

Probably somewhat poorly phrased question. I'm by no means only planning on using the 204, but I thought it would be neat to add another animal to the list for it, assuming it was ethical. I'll probably try my bow for a good amount of the time.
