How many coaches have said what Herman said? A bunch. I seriously wonder if some on here even watch college football. For years it has been a joke that if a coach said he hadn't talked to anyone and wasn't leaving that it was already a done deal. Yep, he's gone.

What did he say? All I saw was Herman and UT both said they didn't talk until after the Memphis game. No clue what happened obviously but I assumed the reason the Herman camp leaked the LSU stuff was because they hadn't heard from UT.

So is that what they call an "unnamed source"? Just wondering because there were many on here calling for ESPN's head.....saying "they made it up" when they questioned Herman just before the Memphis game. You remember, the interview where Herman bold face lied to everyone.

Cecil was an unbelievable talent.
When I try to put together an All Injury team at BAMA I always put Kerry Goode (1984) at the top of the RBs. In fact I believe he is the best RB we ever had. The only problem was he completely blew out his knee after 3 quarters
He now is suffering with the effects of ALS. The photo below is of Kerry and Kevin Turner. KT died this Summer and had been diagnosed with ALS but later his Drs. said it was actually CTE.

Kerry Goode was from close to my home town got to watch him play high school ball from ton creek there were several ball players from that family Antonio Langham was a cousin as well. Great ball players a ton of talent come out of that little school Town Creek it was a 2a school with a ton of division 1 talent.

Aranda is now the highest paid assistant in CFB and Chad Morris will not be leaving the SMU program this year.

Major to UT has been beat to death. He is not going to Austin. Or he would have already; again...
Herman said he was going to wait to make all decisions till after Houston's bowl game; as to not leave them with high and dry. So that tells me. Orlando is gone. MA is staying and will leave once the new HC is picked.
I liked what TF stated on TV. That the next coach will have a much different contract than CTH. That UH will not be a 2 and out school for coaches looking to climb. That is a different approach than the past, and I like it but that will limit the people that will come.

I think MA should be interviewed for the HC position at Houston

Yeah that floating around. I mean why make a move to Baylor for $1M per year if that was the offer. Just stay at SMU for similar money and wait for something substantially more.

The word is Chad countered at 5 yrs and 25 million. He also had 3 out clauses If Texas came calling, If Texas A&M came calling or recruiting violations in CAB era. I think the balk from Baylor was he is going to run as soon as A&M comes calling.

yes both MA and CTO are being interviewed but I do not think either will get it.
