Hate to hear that. Prayers to the pup and you guys. My 2 year old son was recently bitten and it was a very long and scary 9 days in the hospital. We are through it now and he was out trick or treating (not as a snake, too soon....)

Hope the pups get well. Hate those freaking spawns of satan.

Dogs are home. Boxer still has lots of swelling but moving and acting fine. The lab just became very stiff in his front left and back left leg and could move them. We had to help him lay down. Almost like bad cramps. His heart is still beating extremely fast for him have been laying most of the evening. He will be back at vet first thing in the morning. Tomorrow will be a big day once we hit the 24-36 hour window.

I can assure you there won't be much sleep in this household. Thank you. I'm hoping I won't have to update until after we get to vet in morning.

It is crazy to me how our cow dogs got bit almost every year and received no care, they just laid up for 2-3 days all swollen up and then were better.

And then dogs that receive so much care barely make it.

I would like to tell you that based on my past experiences you are worrying too much about the lab but I can't, I have been in the same spot with my Lacy and it worried me sick! Prayer up!
