Passed Biggest buck to date.
I'm hunting 5000 acres that's a part of a 40,000 acre ranch. All on the same management plan which the rules that were just put into place is 5.5 and older on trophies 10 points or better. I had him aged at 4.5 just BC I have seen 5+ yr olds(mature) on camera out there and his body is no where near their size. Supposedly Coke county and that area up there had a terrible drought in 2011 and had 0% fawn survival rate. So that would out the 5.5 mark. I did what I felt was right for our genetics and hope to see him grow! He sure would have made me happy and would be at the taxi right now but I'm thinking about long run for us and the lease. Thanks for the input fellas, and good luck to y'all!

Do you think he is 5.5? Deer out there's bodies blow up at 5.5. I have deer on camera that would swallow this deer.
