Not a 3.5 year old. At least 4.5 maybe 5.5. Like stated above I hope your other lease members are on the same page. Really nice buck.

I could not have passed that one! That said however, I have been bow hunting for a long time and only killed one doe...so. I'd probably miss anyway from buck fever lol

I just don't get to hunt very much so anything I get a chance at would be a trophy for me.

The problem with passing is, are you allowing someone else on adjoining property to harvest him. In theory your passing was good for managing the herd, but for who ?

Good pass. He's 4.5 and 130's. We will have bigger deer and culls to shoot. He's going to be a stud in a year or two with all the protein we're feeding.

Remember that this has been a very good year for range conditions. Most of the bucks should have better than normal racks and more weight to them.

From the video I would guess he's 4.5 and 134. Very nice buck. How close is he to the property fence?

Lol, just goes to show why Texas chose "antler restrictions" as a method of aging deer.

I'm definitely with the older crew he's at least 4.5 and i think older.

that said won't hurt to give him a year. Even if he's 5.5 I candidly think they're best is from there on . . . . . seen too many 5.5 year olds got wacked because they weren't that much better then 4.5 as i've hunted more I realize they rut so hard at 4.5 sometimes they just won't recover the next year.

incidentally i would have passed too even if it was the biggest thats been seen. first year on property i'd want to watch what was going on . . .
