Is there an oil/gas well nearby? We have two wells on our lease & there is some kind of injection system that whistles about once every 30-45 seconds. You can hear it from a long way off if the wind is right.

We dont. With all the grass we have, a few mineral/salt blocks is all we do. Mommas are fat and healthy.

I have a few who dropped a few pounds. One is a heifer that is 2 years old and the other is one who let multiple calfs suck on her. I wish I knew how her calf would look with just him sucking.

There is the answer. Calf's nursing making that unexplained noise OP posted about. Are pork bellies up or down today?

I have neighbors that constantly shoot from 4pm to dark every weekend and just on the weekend and my other neighbor is also doin different things to hinder hunting on the weekend .when u work you're *** off to pay for you're own land and sum friend of the neighbors property gets to torcher you every weekend it ****** you off ,but you are right if its not you're property what can you do ? I personally am buying a bigger ranch so my neighbors will be far far away .pretty dam sad that respect was lost somewhere and people agree with it👎🏿
