Man, I've been a member on here since the beginning, way before the crash, and posts in this thread remind me of why I don't come around as often. The man asked if you would pay a price if the deer are there. I live in Hopkins County which is NOT notorious for big deer, but there are pockets where guys I know are killing deer consistently year after year in the 140-170 range, even a buck that scored in the 190's several years back, shot with a bow on opening morning. Pockets. I, along with several buddies, have access to probably over 1,000 acres in one of the best looking bottoms but have yet to pull a card with a 130" deer. I believe that if I had feeders out on a 50 acre property in the middle of one of these pockets, I could consistently get pics or see these bucks that are being killed year after year. I believe the OP, and believe there are many guys on here that would lease this property for an opportunity for that class of deer.

I was going to pull the trigger and pay for both spots on a lease in Kerr County, 4k total for 24 acres and a county road going right thru the middle......Someone else snatched it up first.Comment

RutNBuk what direction are you from Brownwood? We hunt between there and Richland Springs in some pretty good country.
