The Bears are in corn country with a matchup against Iowa St. Saturday. The defense was impressive against OSU Saturday but continued to make big stops on 1 & 2 only to give up big yards on 3rd down. Would like to see them buckle down and play a good game from start to finish.
The offense finally got clickin from the get go against the Pokes. Ended up only having possession for just under 19 minutes of that game. If we can hold onto the ball then the offense continues to roll.

It's just a stat for the team but as a fan it's flat line inducing nervousness. Everyone talks down on Big 12 defenses but with teams like most have these days, getting 3 stops is the difference in winning or losing.
I do think this is the best defense Baylor has fielded in my lifetime (26 years) thus far. If they can stay healthy, this team is more than capable of being in the conversation from here out.Last edited by Kmart49; 09-26-2016, 02:56 PM.
