Ummmmm, YES. It's his dream job with a Freshman QB already in place to run his O. That and there is that Saban guy I referred to earlier.

There's no question he would. You have to remember that one of Herman's mentors is Urban and he will share his opinion on the SEC which is not favorable. Herman was at Texas and coaching in the state when Texas was rolling. He knows what the program can do. He has no ties to the SEC. I think it's pretty cut and dry he would take Texas over LSU.

I'm not 100% convinced Herman takes LSU even if Texas is not open.

Wow. What a turn of events on here. Developer Strong was the savior all offseason and most of Sept. Now LSU has the first crack at TH and burnt orange nation is ready to cut the head off with CS if he only wins 7 or 8. LOL

I want whatever puts Texas back in the discussion. The one with Saban, Meyer, Harbaugh, Fisher and Dabo at the table.

How can you put Harbaugh at that table...yet. he hasn't won a significant game against a significant opponent yet. If he wins this weekend, he will get to stand behind a chair at the table. If he beats his only 3 real opponents this year, or at least 2 of them, then he can maybe sit down. They are ranked crazy high and their schedule is as soft as my pillow so far.

I hope he loses by 50 this weekend. And yall have all called sumlin coach gimmicks. Well Mr. Khaki pants has taken gimmicks to new levels.

See past success at Stanford and even an almost win at the Superbowl and use your football knowledge. He will be sitting at the table soon enough. It may not be this year but he will sit and discuss.....

And, if we beat SC, and Tennessee, lose to bama, and win out, is Sumlin a good coach or just lucky? I hope he finally has two coordinators in place that are the right guys. I know chavis is. If these two are the right guys, he may be able to string a couple decent seasons together. Losing young coaches to become head coaches has really hurt him imo. Hopefully these guys are too old to start over as a new HC. Thoughts from the haters??

I like where Sumlin has them headed. They lose some serious talent on D this year and are a bit thin behind those cats, but 10 or more wins can do a lot for recruiting where that's needed. They likely take a dip down on D next season.

The biggest surprise for me thus far with the Ags is their run blocking with that OL, Turner has them boys doing work.

Ags keep playing like they are and build on it each and every week and their chances of knocking off Bama and winning their first SEC West title are ripe for the taking.

That's a bit of a reach. Everyone wants Charlie to succeed but I didn't hear any savior talk. The good vibes surrounded recruiting and are well deserved. Name a single coach that has had the 2 year recruiting success Charlie has had with a losing record.
