I will be flying back home, south of Houston on Sunday afternoon from Baton Rouge, then flying back on Monday afternoon at 5 pm back to finish up a shutdown in Plaquemine. If you need a horn transport to get them to you... I can do that.

Let me know if ya need help. Nine7nine-319-zero66two.

Or I can drop them off in Angleton at TBH's TTaxidermy. And if ya need a cape... I can work on that too this season from my South Texas place.

    He does great work!!!

I know who you are referring to.....poor guy has been through hell this year. I hate to hear you lost your cape. My buddy lost an elk cape in the same freezer. Hope all pans out on your mount. Great deer BTW.

He has been through a lot and wish he was still doing my deer but I heard he sold all the business he didn't have deposits on. He never requested deposits from me because my buddy has been using him for years and he has done work for me in the past.

Dude, go get your horns asap or have someone pick them up!

Do you really want an "unknown" Taxi-man mounting your deer of a lifetime? I'm sure he's good but you never know. Pick up your horns and select the Taxi of your choice and they'll locate a cape for you come season if they don't already have one.

You really need to pick those antlers up and start from scratch. Been there done that with a different taxi

Any luck with communication with him? I used him for 20 years. Never had an issue. Took two deer and three friends deer last year. Been told they will be ready in two weeks since March! I can stop by and harass him about yours if you want. I live ten minutes away and stop in once a month or so. They have all my horns but I haven't seen a single deer in the shop when I stop by. They moved into the building with the processor in front of The old shop.

Got one of 5 mounts back today. Not the best but decent job. He supposedly saved one of the capes that was in the freezer that went out. Definitely gonna be looking for a new taxidermist.

Had similar issues with him years ago with some waterfowl mounts. He owned the processing business before the current owner and there were issues there also. I would recommend taking it elsewhere, Overalls in New Caney is great just as several of the taxidermist here on TBH
