CFB 2016 Week 3 Thread

The wife and I are headed to see Ole Miss and Bama this weekend. We are staying in Memphis and will catch up with my buddy who is Director of Operations for the Memphis Football team. I hope we have time to tour the facilities as well.

We have reservations at City Grocery for Friday lunch, but nothing else is planned. We are going to see two of her former students that play for Ole Miss so we will spend some time with those guys too. I am looking forward to my first trip to the Grove!

You won't be disappointed my friend. The Grove never ceases to amaze me! Get the Shrimp and Grits at City Grocery...you can thank me later. The town will be jam packed and full of life. We will have a car so trying to decide to buy a pass on Stubhub or park in a shuttle lot.

Can you walk from square to the stadium? I haven't looked at it to close this week.

It'd be a rather long walk but definitely doable. Wife may hate you tho! You'll want to be in The Grove early to enjoy the festivities and Walk of Champions, etc. And wear your sunglasses...your head will be on a swivel and you need to be able to play dumb like you aren't looking at the scenery! Lol Take lots of pics

How is LF's patella? Will he play this week?

I could see Fertitta doing it to prove a point. He gets pretty emotional when he talks about it on the news.

Prove what point? If UT, LSU or A&M came calling, I don't think money would be the issue.

I don't think he leaves Herman unless it's for a HFC job like at UH. I think Major would take a job at LSU as an OC (with Herman) or HFC down the road as it's been a long time.

You better wash your mouth out with Octagon soap for saying that against the LSU Tigers.

LSU will likely lose two games total. The second will be to your good friend's favorite team. If LSU only loses one game then BAMA will probably play them again in the CFB Playoff

I'll take that as long as I reverse my January avatar challenge for Bama LSU. You know I'm in on that every year. I haven't got Les my TBH name badges yet but when I finally make the time to go to TJ ribs and deliver them to him I think they will finally have the motivation to beat Bama.

Pre season polls matter bc without them we wouldn't have Texas at 11 and wisc at 9 right now. Like them or not there has to be some sort of way to judge teams when they play week 1 after the games are done. I mean who really had a good win and is a good team if u don't have a measuring stick to compare them to?

It's about to get real , we really need to beat auburn. I have a feeling our team this year is mature and will only get better as season goes on. And how exactly did the auburn tigers get war **** eagle ? How does an eagle and a tiger make sense? Anyone know he story
