CFB 2016 Week 3 Thread

Sitting at the Memphis airport ready to get home and I'm angry. What a terrible excuse for a ball game from the coaches to the players for Texas. My worst fear is what happened last night taking a young team on the road and Cal being able to score at will. From the 2 missed FGs, 2 interceptions, bad timely holding calls, coaching blunder, injuries, and a DC that should have been left off the team play. It has been a long time since I have been this upset over a Texas game.

They are sitting at 2-1 which is were most people thought they would be after the first three games, but last night is going to leave a bad taste in my mouth for awhile. They have a long way to go.

Why so mad this year? Even though they lost they still look much better than last 2 years. They lost a close game on the road. They have improved from the past few seasons. Swoopes needs to stay 2nd string the rest of the season

Yet Ole Miss scored 4e and was shreddding them early.

It was one game man. Did you think Texas was going undefeated with a roster full of under classmen?

You are the worst, most annoying fan ever.

Tbey now have 2 weeks to prepare for a very beatable OSU. The sun rose today.

I am not a bad fan man. No team with the talent Texas has should lose to Cal. When will you stop using the "young" excuse? There are plenty of teams starting freshmen that beat the teams they are supposed to. I watched the whole game. I put my rally cap on only to see the coaching staff take a brain dump on the field.

If Strong is gone I hope Les Miles is sitting on that bus next to him when it drives off.

The race will be on between those two schools for Tom Herman if it happens.

True on all accounts. I am tired of seeing Swoopes out there if its not in the red zone. I think what most are mad about is the coaching...Bedford is a joke but Charlie is a big part of the D so you can put some blame on him as well. Players constantly out of position and so many missed tackles are a killer. Offense did their job but the D couldnt stop a walk on QB. Texas should have been able to run the ball **** near every play and shoved it down their throats but they have Swoopes dropping back and throwing INTs.

Oh well guess we have to wait two weeks and see if the coaches actually did some coaching or will it be the same crap all over. HOOK EM.

Man I agree with everything here. I also am highly peesed bc of the OC last night. He managed to keep the offense out of rythym in the second half. I didn't understand the swapping every play almost of QBs. They should've just run the ball all dang night and give the horrid defense a chance to rest. Def lost this game bc of coaches calls.

Offense play calling sucked, and secondary was even worse.

Bedford should have had to take a greyhound back to Austin.

lol good to see everyone enjoying the loss last night.

i too agree with BOB. it's one game in a long season.

defense stepped up for the most part in the 2nd half. Not sure what happened to the O. Shane's arm strength appeared to be hampered and they weren't going downfield anymore. Penalties put us behind the chains and made it hard to run and that killed most of the 2nd half drives.

I can't imagine trying to be in college and going to class and studying for exams AND going through the next two weeks of coaching and drills that this team is about to face.

I am in San Francisco about to head to the airport. I went to the game, my team lost and I am going home to Cowtown!

It was a great weekend with the family and friends and my team lost a football game!
