RTIC Defect

My RTIC wont hold ice half as long as my Yeti so I emailed them about it and still no response. 2 weeks ago. That irritates me but I overall like the RTIC and since I hydro dipped it ill just keep it but they could have responded back.

We have a RTIC with a rattle too. I put it on the counter with the same level ice as another RTIC, an Ozark and a Yeti and the next morning they were all identical. Nobody likes using the annoying rattling one though.

My Yeti 20oz rattles...I use it to tell it apart from my wife's!

That rattle noise is actually the vacuum seal that has come loose within the Tumbler. If you put ice water in there and the exterior of the cup gets extremely cold, that's a good indication the seal has broken and it's not going to perform very well.

When mine rattles I just add more whasky

Probably knocks a piece of slag off of the internal weld... not a big deal but they should replace it if its a known issue

Might have been a disgruntled worker who put something in it to drive people crazy.

The Boz (not many of you are old enough to remember ) once told the story of his summer job at a vehicle assembly plant; got bored and would drop a nut into various door panels or other places where it would rattle!

Me too... my father-in-law was a Ford service guy many, many years ago... Lady had a rattle in her Galaxy 500... rattled every time she took off or started up... He finaly found a bolt inside the frame with a note attached that read, "...find this, you S.O.B." He was not a happy camper!

My sister bought a brand new Chrysler back in the late '70's. It had a rattle that the dealer or anyone else couldn't find. One day she had a flat and I went over to put the spare on. Yep, beer can under the spare in the trunk.

Walmart would take there's back but the engraving probably voids all warranties with everyone I bet.
