    LASIK and Huntin?

I think I have to choose one or the other. That is my dilemma. My targets are blurry 30 yards and out, but I can see up close pretty good.

So James have you started wearing the contacts yet? Have you tested that on a bow sight, through a scope or open sights?

Hey James! We might just have to play with it and tweak it a bit. I'll see you Monday when you come back ;o)

It all just really depends on what you're looking for! Literally..(get it?). We treat tons of patients over the age of 50. My mother was 54 when we treated her for blended vision 6 years ago, and she still sees great far and up close! We have so many patients, hunters, doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc etc that are in their 50's that do amazing with the blend. During the evaluation is when we really get into detail on what your prescription is, what we can treat, what the vision will look like post-surgery, etc etc. Email me if any questions! ahassen@manneye.com

I had it done about 10 years ago and never looked back. Just don't do it two days before opening of dove season!

Haha! We had a patient awhile back that had it on a Friday morning and shot a Nilgai at 350 yards that Saturday evening after. Crazy how fast the eyeballs heal!

Had mine done in 2000. Doc says I may need cheaters in a few years, but everything is golden so far.

Come see me if you start having trouble with your near vision...we can treat one of your eyes to help you focus up close if needed. So glad you love your LASIK, it's the best.

This^^^^ I know everyone may be treated differently due to the condition of their eyes, but might as well throw a ball park figure out there to avoid getting tons of emails asking the same thing.

I'm 50 and have bad vision, always have. Not sure what my prescription is but on the boxes my contacts came is -5.50 on one and -5.25 on the other. Does that sound like something yall could work with? I'm interested in this.

Absolutely! Our laser can treat up to about a -12.00...so as long as your corneas are healthy and there aren't any abnormalities, usually prescription isn't much of an issue. Our evaluations are totally free though so email me and we can schedule for you to come see if you're a good candidate! We would love to help you.
