Ashley, read the gentlemans thread on lasik and see if that's about how your procedure goes.

Ill ask her about it when she gets home. Her birthday is coming up but I'm worried 31 may be too old. [emoji6][emoji23][emoji15]

She used the Mann clinic off 2920 and the surgery was in the woodlands. Surgery took less than 15 minutes (but it smells like cutting deer horns) and she got some really bad *** free safety glasses [emoji3]
She hasn't shot anything but a pistol and her bow but her groups got way better. It's helped her archery confidence tremendously.
Maybe I can get her to write a review for a 15% refund?[emoji3]

I have to wear readers and unfortunately, you can't have both close up and distance vision. I chose to have mine corrected through Lasic for distance.
I see things now out hunting I never saw before even with my contacts.
I will wear readers any day to not have to wear glasses or contacts any more.

I met Ashley almost two years ago when I went to the Mann office here in Katy. She did a great job answering all my questions and got me set up for the surgery. Surgery went great and the next day I could see 20/15, better than i had in years. Unfortunately in a few months my eyesight started regressing. My eye doctor there is also a TBH member and an awesome bowhunter. He was great at helping me get set up to have an enhancement.
About 10 months later I was back in the chair to try again. This time they made my left eye good for close up so I could read my phone and the right eye good for far vision while shooting and hunting. They call this blended vision. I think it was last fall when I had the enhancement done and it has worked great until just recently.
I am in a computer training class this week and once again I need glasses to see the board and sometimes cheaters to help me read the small print in the manual. I am very frustrated with it.
I would still highly recommend Ashley, Dr. Mann, and my optometrist there. They are first class in every way and probably some of the best in the country. Unfortunately it just doesn't look like it is going to stick for me.

mine was 17 years ago, when I couldn't imagine spending that much money....
best money I've ever spent.
still have really good vision, although I do have a pair of readers I have to use for fly fishing now.

Had my vision checked at Mann Eye 2 Bay Area location. The doctor there was super thorough with the exam. I had a follow up at the Main St. location. I was given some contacts to give me an idea of how my vision would be with lasik. Going back in on Monday for a follow up. My wife had lasik about 10 years ago and has great vision near and far. I think I have to choose one or the other. That is my dilemma. My targets are blurry 30 yards and out, but I can see up close pretty good.
