We are very blessed here, and have one of the fastest most accurate custom LASERS so usually we can treat up to about a -12.00 so long as the corneas are healthy and thick enough to safely treat. We don't charge for evaluations though so let me know if you'd like to come see me to determine your candidacy!
What are the options for someone who's corneas aren't thick enough?

Ashley this is a perfect opportunity for me to ask a question I've been needing answered if I'm going to consider having lasik. If you don't mind attempting to answer this question.
I am 58, my eye sight is really not very bad. I don't wear glasses or contacts, I don't have trouble reading on my iPhone or newspaper or such. I know I have a slight astigmatism in each eye and I think only because of this I do have some trouble seeing at a distance. I can see but not clearly enough to pick out a dear in the thicket at 100 yards. I also have trouble clearly seeing my contact point with a bow at about 40 yards.
So here's my question. Can I have lasik to correct my astigmatism/distant vision and not negatively affect the rest of my vision? I DO NOT want to have to start wearing readers or have problems with starburst at night or things like this.
Chootum!
