          just checking on you brother

pray the Serenity Prayer daily or whenever you feel temped and call me any time you need support

          337/three0three/44three-seven

another suggestion, if you don't feel comfortable at an AA open discussion mtg, go to a Big Book study group meeting where they read stories from others as you will definitely relate to others experiences

Ok, thanks! I think I found a group at a local church. It isn't AA, but still focuses on addictions.

My family and friends are all very supportive too. Feeling very blessed.

Man, that's great. It takes some serious courage to recognize the issue, get past the stigma of wOrrington about what others might say or think, and take that leap to get the help. Great job. Stay strong.

Take him up on the offer. He's got some valuable insight. Same offer goes for me. I may not have all the answers, but I bet I have some. Never think that you can do it alone.

Congrats on your decision. Addmitance is the first hurdle and avoidance is the next big step but sounds like you have a GREAT support team just take it one day at a time and ALL will be fine Give all your supporter hugs and hand shakes for being there for you.

                                Good for you.

I quit drinking 11 years ago. It does get easier, but you must take some responsibility and put your faith in yourself, as much as the lord.
