          From what I have learned, he is in that home stretch that's the most rugged of the trail. Good luck! Keep pushing! Looking forward to your summit of Katahdin photo.

            At a hostel tonight in Gorham, NH tonight resting my bones. Yes.... It's rugged and brutal! I will make it! Good luck with the doves in the morning guys!!!

              From near the top of Mt. Madison this morning. We were pushed around real good by the wind at the summit. The AT went over the peak of the mountain. The group in front had their pack covers blown off their packs. We went over a little later and avoided most of the rain.

              Despite rain and wind, it was not as cold as I thought it would be. Still, temps are "fall like" here.
