Thinkin bout gettin em for my new string.
Gonna look at the speed nocks too. Do they work well with a single cam bow? Or just a double cam?Ultramatic Feeders

Joey, they can be used on single cam bows. So-called speed nocks are just a few plain brass nocks crimped on the string about 2-3" above and below the cams. The idea is adding weight to the string in the right places creates momentum that increases speed.
The ideal number and position of nocks is determined by your bow, arrow, and draw length combination so you will have to shoot several arrows through a chrono, playing around with the nocks to find the sweet spot.
I put 3 nocks above and below the cams on my hoyt and I picked up about 6 fps.

Picked up new limb savers to replace the old ones I had that were getting hard.
Thanks for the help. I'm going to look into the STS stuff as well.
Oh yeah, thanks for the encouragement, Gary.

I haven't shot string "silencers" on my bows in over 15 years, other than the ones that came on my Allegiance, and they're long since gone. I like speed balls to dampen the vibration, but "silencers" on a string seemed like a waste of energy to me. The deer have never seemed to mind my not having them on the bow. It's really hard for me to believe that putting a couple whiskers on a string will maike enough difference in noise to a deer. It's one of those things that people think they need, but if they didn't have them, the results would be the same.
