I would suggest the Mean V STS. What is a little more weight on a boat anchor. Kidding aside, the STS on my Dren made a quiet bow quieter.

Casey, My Elite has Speed balls on the strings and an STS type stop called an e-suppresor. Fast and pretty quiet too.

the leeches fly off when your bow string is not that great i hear. i have them on my dxt with a winners choice string and they dont move. now with that bow it is so quiet with out anything its really just overkill. the leeches just flew off my bear truth with its factory string. i will eventually change that one to a winners choice as well. good luck in finding what you like

The original set lastest 10 shots.

Amen to the above. I have a set of Limbsavers in my tackle box, but the archery techs all tell me the cat whiskers can't be beat...so, they are still on my strang, and the leeches are in my tackle box.

I am with the rest on the cat wiskers. I tried the leeches and they didn't hold up.

Got some new string leeches as well as cat whiskers. I've always been a fan of the old school whiskers. Maybe I'll just put on one of everything.

Picked up new limb savers to replace the old ones I had that were getting hard.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to look into the STS stuff as well.

Oh yeah, thanks for the encouragement, Gary.

Just trying to help a brother out...wait til you see old lefty (duane) shooting...it will make you feel ALL BETTER about yourself and you're equipment. The guy really needs to move on to another weapon or sport...but I lead him on so I can feel better about myself.

                                People still use string silencers?

Nada here...just a few speed nocks.
