Man... nothing sucks worse than a zipper that is the point of failure. Whether it be a good sleeping bag ruined by a crappy zipper... a good pack... ruined by a crappy zipper, etc.
For me, the zipper has nothing to do with leaking... it has to do with how long will it hold up to zipping open and shut. (kind of like the ziplock bag comparison analogy)
That being said, I am not paying $300 for a zipper. I'd rather not spend my money on either.
So, let me get this straight??? All you guys crying about the zipper? How many coolers have you knocked over? I think I've seen a few drunk BnLs trip over a cooler and knock it over but that was rare. Yeti are a marketing demi-god. Wally just beat them with costs. Hail to the new king OT. So there's a little sweat, don't worry your mall-rated jeep has water-proof carpet.
Awesome picture! All guys at my lease are huge Jeep fanatics, we were saying we can't wait for 5 to 7 years from now when all the Jeep JK's are on Craigslist for next to nothing and have never been off road before!
I luv the new "trail rated" badges jeep made up to sell more. I've blown by more jeeps in the Rockies in my 2000 Monty stock then you'd ever believe. I can see why they'd be worried about condensation or a little zipper failure.
Well here we go the ever so important life altering experiment!!!

Can you take an up close picture of the OT zipper? I've read and heard that it isn't "great" and it is so hard to see in the pics because there isn't any contrast (unlike the YETI with the blue zips, so you get an idea of how beefy they are.)
I don't care about leaking, but I do care about how well the zipper will hold up to repeated use.
The Bison bag cooler looks like the best of both worlds to me. It isn't shaped like a woman's purse like the Yeti, and it has a high quality and even leakproof zipper. It costs more than the OT, but much less than the Yeti. If I were in the market for a bag cooler, I'd be getting the Bison.

I don't think its leak proof.
From what I can tell its a AO cooler with a Bison tag, but I have been known to be wrong before.
i have a TBH game guard bag cooler, is it ******, no. Does it leak, yes. It was the same price as this Ozark trail and It supports TBH. I hate bag coolers because they leak and don't hold ice worth a dang but it works for certain situations. I'm not sure what everyone's love for a bag cooler anyway, I wouldve spent that $300 for the yeti bag cooler on a Brute roto cooler and the $50 for the Ozark Trail at somewhere other than Walmart .
Keep your drinks cold for up to 2 days with the Ultra-Tough Soft Cooler. Leakproof design, waterproof zipper, and durable construction. Multiple sizes also available to choose from.

I picked up an OT bag cooler at walmart and tested it out on my family camping trip this past weekend. It was setting on asphalt in the shade next to our camper and the kids and I were in and out of it all day. I had to refill it with ice every day but the water and drinks inside of it were still really cold. I never saw any condensation and there is no way this bag is going to tip over when it is full of drinks and ice.
