My daughter is doing a summer intern thing with an occupational therapist place in Greatwood. She went out to Crab River Rd and on to 99 to get home. Guessing she never looked at those other neighborhoods. Water is across all 4 lanes of 359 near the car wash and I heard someone say its on Hwy 90 near Harlem.

PK now releasing 19,600 CFS. That's 10,000 more than when I reported yesterday at noon.

Grandbury releasing 23,500 CFS. That's 5,000 cfs more than yesterday last report. Whitney lake will flood again.

Proctor is +21 ft above normal and trying to hold water back as much as possible.

I expect ACE to hold as much water back as possible on the Whitney lake and Lake Waco, because of the flooding already underway down stream on the Brazos. Both of those lakes have some flood capacity left at the present. They will help act as a "bumper to help absorb the shock" of all the water run-off.

Lake Sumerville on the lower Brazos is +21 feet above normal. That's 1.42 feet above normal Flood Capacity. They don't have much room left. And that dumps into where they are having all the flooding on the lower river now.

The town of Breckenridge is experiencing flooding. City water supply system has been compromised.

Most of the lakes in the Breckenridge-Abilene region have reached full or above capacity. They "were" way down and still experiencing drought conditions before this last good rain in that area out to Abilene.
Thank you for repeating this on this thread.

I just checked the radar and it looks like things are only going to get worse. All this rain coming in from the west is only going to add to the problem.

Our creek that goes under Rayford Road has dropped about 30 feet in two days. I can only imagine all that water meeting up with the other creeks/rivers down south.............UGLY.

359 & Mason (Old Farmer) is closed. They closed it this morning early.
About 30 minutes ago my daughter took 99 to Mason to Farmer and across Oyster creek into the subdivision without any problems. Just guessing really but I'm thinking this is the route that will stay open the longest. As long as Oyster creak doesn't fill up with back water then it should be in pretty good shape.

Thanks for the info. Just passed 90 where Harlem dead ends and everything on the other side flooded out. Saw a guy in an airboat.

I drove down that part of 90A twice today. The deer were everywhere in the field with a large group right up against the fence along the highway. There were even some newborn fawns(very small). Im wondering if they ever crossed the highway to get to drier ground.
