      Nothing ugly about this truck

I didn't like the Ram's body styling either...too roundish for me...Ford has better lines for my eyes...

They used to be the ugliest and cheapest-back in the day I heard older guys say:
If you could not afford a Chevy or a Ford you showed up with a Dodge. They have made a big comeback with Hemi's and Cummins.

Like I mentioned earlier. Go look at what a Super Duty is being used for vs. what most Rams are being used for in the diesel market. One is used to haul the family to and from baseball games. One is being used for commercial applications and hauling at maximum GVWR it's entire life. I'd expect lower resale and more maintenance between trucks that have been used that differently.

Also, the Ram is 3-5k cheaper, in the higher trim levels, in initial cost compared to a Super Duty or Duramax. So, I'd fully expect it to resale for less.
You are correct. I was thinking more gas engine.

So, this was my 2014 Laramie, 4x4, 3.55 gear, QuadCab Ram with the EcoDiesel 'and 25-29mpg's. Only issue was the SCR/DPF recall on it. They have worked thru the DPF/SCR and Exhaust issues. I sold the truck to move up to a Crewcab, just couldn't afford the extra financing..Next year, I'm going back to the Ecodiesel in a Crew Cab.! Just be aware of the $200-$300 oil change price tag every 10k miles, unless you do it yourself. The oil filter alone is $50 from the dealer. Also, use MUST use a specific full-synthetic oil that meets the Chrysler MS-code..If you have the option get the AIR Suspension, cause you get 1mpg extra, extra ride height on off-road, and suspension auto adjusts to load on rear end..

To be fair my 14 GMC Sierra has had more than it's share of electrical issues. Killing the power to the whole truck while driving, flashing nonesense codes, killing power while in reverse etc. Been in the shop half the time I've owned it and the dealer keeps saying they couldn't find anything wrong.

One year into my 2015 Ram. It has been perfect. Love it.

Based on reading the OP's other thread I wonder if he is planning on buying or if he is trying to sale them?

That makes a lot more sense and I do agree with you there. Especially the actual Dodge line of vehicles.

That's better than some things I've heard about axle speed sensors going out of some other manufacturers. Not only does it kill power to the wheels, it also locks them up. Talk about scary.

my neighbor bought a 2016 1500 gas truck. He sold it two months later. The truck came with computer and electrical problems. They weren't engine related He said he got a lemon, maybe that is an isolated problem and maybe not. His truck was always in the shop. I drive chevy and ford so i don't research much on dodge.

I've had one and the engine is a beast but the rest of the truck is sub-par below the rest of the industry. Interior is crap....
