My son got a toy for christmas that had an actual clicker. Push the button and it would click. The toy woukd start moving. Push the clicker again and it would stop. Heck, i had never used an actual clicker till he got the toy! No batteries needed for the clicker!

Back in the day I was the clicker/remote.

Dad would holler out one of the kids names to come turn the knob on the TV so he could channel surf.
