It doesn't really matter what we think, you chose not to shoot it. A trophy to one man may be a pass to another. It's all about the hunting experience a person has and what we think as individuals. There are some on here who pass 150'' bucks and those who have never seen a 150'' buck. My point is, don't let what others say spoil your hunt. You got to see something very rare and because of that didn't shoot. I wouldn't have shot it either.

Gosh that would be a tough call for me. If I felt good enough that we would make it another year, I would give him a pass due to age.

Passed a nub like that several times one year because everyone on the lease said we should let it grow. Got shot opening morning the next year as a basket 6pt, would of been cool to see him mature.
