Had this guy at 14 yards back in November, couldn't make myself shoot him. My wife was sitting with me, telling me to shoot him.

That is sad. Propagating defective genetic traits. In a zoo that is one thing. But letting deer like that breed in the wild does NOT help the species. High fence different story.
If that buck stepped out in front of me it would be dead. Twap or bang.

As soon as I can figure how to download the pics, have one on my wall. It is far from largest, but definitely the favored mount here. Needed the genetics off the place and was happy to help with that.

I've seen one albino buck, it was at a place I used to work, so no hunting. But he stuck out like a sore thumb, you could see him from a mile away. We would use him to locate the other larger, older bucks. You would over look the others because they blended in but he would give them away.
