The regent also prefers the old bowl system on human poles and no playoff games.

The article makes a good point with the lackluster non-power 5 teams available.

While I agree, what they have accomplish in the regular season is impressive, I haven't read or seen much about it on Texas or national news outlets. College baseball just isn't a big talking point. Maybe its just a CS/Bryan thing you are hearing this big news from. I'd say the Spurs and even the Rangers are getting more pub ...and the Spurs are certainly bigger news right now than any of them.

I said nothing about baseball. You guys are the ones with the "breaking news" coming out of College Station.....especially for a group that doesn't care about their non-rival.
