      A long straw. There's always some junk left in the pool. I have a big oak on the south. Bottle brushes and oleanders on the east side. It has stuff falling into all the time.

        Way cheaper to keep it right and not really that expensive IMO. Gets expensive when you let it get outta whack

          Turn your pump off for 24 hrs , all the pollen and dust will settle on bottom of pool. Then waste vac bottom of pool to remove debris

          You will have to add more water and chlorine to adjust proper levels

          With large trees around, it's a never ending cycle

              I agree very strongly with this comment above and from my personal experience with the three gunite pools we have had over the las 30 plus years.
