Good morning folks. I am a couple of months shy of 60 yrs, and a relative newby on this site. but get a good sense of community here. I have had some middle back pain for about 6 months, nothing requiring pain pills, so I haven't had it looked at. In the last 2 weeks I began to experience leg weakness and loss of muscle control. After several mri's and a couple of ct's and near total loss of contrl of my legs, it is determined I have what is most likely have renal cancer and a small tumor on my lumbar spine. Doc's have confidence they can fix it. Back surgery to remove the small tumor, and kidney removeal later. Steroid treatment has me walking with assistance, swelling on spinal cord reduced. So outlook is good, they fell it can be arrested as this is fairly treatable. I'm surrounded by family and friends, so not facing this alone. Looks like I will have several weeks of downtime, so hope to be posting more here when I can contribute. Good luck everyone, and try not to ignore all of those everyday aches and pains you have.
