Prayers up! The older I get, the more I pay attention to those little aches and twinges...especially with my family's medical history. Glad you caught it when you did!

Prayers for you sir. As you know they've made great strides with medical treatments of this stuff recently. Sounds like you have the right support group and keep the faith. The right ATTITUDE plays a big part in recovery.

                  God Bless!

I have been offline with family and doctors. going in for more ct's and bone scan shortly as kidney oncologist wants more detail. My middle back has been sore foe about 6 months. I felt like it was disc because the pain was exactly like when my lower 2 discs had issues. Just a nagging pain not even enough to take over the counter meds for.
The problems became apparent when I went to the DSC convention in dallas on the Saturday it ran. My legs got sore from walking there and stayed sore ever since. I went from sore leges last Monday, to getting a cane Thursday night, to being unable walk from the spine doctor on Tuesday morning. He directly admitted me to the hospital from his office and said he couldn't believe I walked in. He said he felt I already should have been paralyzed due to the spinal compression. I can't have surgery right away due to blood thinners. Tomorrow thy will use the cath lab to shut down as much of the bloosvessels to the tumor on my back, and remove the tumor on sunday. They are giving me steroids and have reduced the swelling where I can walk around the unit, with a walker, and I have virtually no pain. I have went from as low as I can gat emotionally to back to having hope of a full recovery. Once I am done with the back, they are removing the kidney. I am glad I have all the family support, cause I couldn't do this alone.
