There is actually tons of evidence that supports a young earth. And no, I won't go into it because it doesn't matter what evidence there is that supports it. People who believe in evolution will fight/argue every point just as young earth people fight evolution evidence.

Young earth theory requires that physics didn't work the same way 6000 years ago as it does today, that light travelled at different speeds then, that earths magnetic field was switching something like daily...

Will there be tweaks? Of course as we continue to learn, but the theory is solid.

This is why I rarely open these types of threads. There is no amount of rational, well thought out, data-based explanation that will convince those who refuse to challenge their own beliefs and understanding of the world around them to change their minds. Is science 100% correct?...no. Science uses available data to make educated conclusions (temporary as they might be) about how the natural world works and evolves. And like the natural world, humanity's understanding and scientific practices evolve as we develop new tools and methods to gain further insight about the universe and our place in it.
