Brett has a million pics of deer at the feeder. He told me he is pulling cards this week so crossing my fingers the mystery deer is on it again.

I think the camera angle has alot to do with it

No new pics of the mystery animal on the trail cam. You never know what will step out when your hunting.

Yes, the fact that it is the exact same camera angle and zoom in the originals has everything to do with proving that ain't no typical Texas whitetail deer!

Looking forward to this story on the next episode of Unsolved Mysteries.

I saw a few Barsinga bucks & does on a ranch I went to in Dryden a few weeks ago. They are definitely that tall but the ones I saw wasn't that thick. Here a picture of a Barsinga doe I took.

Im pretty positive that isn't a Sika... Tail, horn formation, light colored inside leg-- all don't match up to a Sika

Not even a formosan sika? They get quite a bit bigger

Personally I don't think its Japanese, Dybowski, or Formosan Sika. If I had to guess, I'd say barasingha or sambar. I really don't know, I just don't think its a Sika.
