          There is no white on the bigger animals tail
          U can see the white hair on the whitetail
          but not the other bigger animal

            For what it's worth. I don't know how accurate it is or if it clears anything up. It just makes me think that it is a big mature whitetail.

            Heck, I don't know. Shoot it and then we will all know..

              For sure that is not a Pere David deer. Look at the feet, PD deer have huge hooves and the suspect deer does not have hooves no where near as big as a PD deer. I don't know what kind of deer it is, but is not a PD deer.

                          I'm struggling to see this radically different camera angle between the two photos....

                          drawing a straight line between the two feeders, and looking at where the tree in the background sits, I don't think the camera moved at all. The angle of the shadowed area under the feeder timer is also identical.
