I bought a Poulan from TSC last year and have used it hard during deer season cutting firewood and it's yet to let me down. Used it today matter of fact. I will say my dad has had his Stihl for like 7 years and never had an issue. We also buy and use the pre-mix fuel for all of our two stroke engines.

Download the app and search stores near you. The price listed is the asking price, there is a coupon on the app for $10 off. Good luck.
COOL! Thank you. I didn't know about that.

Nothing wrong with Husky either. I have a handy Stihl and a serious Husky. Both are good saws.

Husky makes a tough saw. Good point, forgot about them.

I have a echo chainsaw, a echo heavy duty weed eater, a echo pole saw, and a echo backpack leaf blower. All run no matter what. My dad has a Stihl chainsaw that he has had for 30 years and it still runs like new. Buy the good stuff when you need it to work it won't let you down.

                    That's one of my setups.

I'm chasing a chainsaw too. May do a pass by the local pawns.

Poulan pro, made by husqvarna and even some of the body parts have the husqvarna logo on them. Chain and bar that come with it is junk though so factor in new bar and chain. Reviews on the pro were very good and mines been great.

Echo, you can't go wrong with one.

Grt a Stihl ms170. Its under 200 and will fit your purposes perfectly.

I'd check the pawn shops or garage sale listings first. Don't be afraid of buying a Husqvarna. I love mine. How big is the wood you plan on cutting? Use 100% gas if you can or TruFuel if you can't. That is the biggest problem they have.

I doubt I'd use it 10 times a year. Is there something inexpensive that's worth getting? Or should I just suck it up and buy a small Echo? Tractor Supply has a small Poulan on sale for $99, but the reviews suggest I'd be better off buying t-post driver and hitting myself in the head with it.

                                Thanks in advance.

If you are just going to use it around the lease, get with me or Mike and borrow. I'm sure we can work out some kind of trade, like cooking us breakfast and bacon on morning
