Hahaha. I had a neighbor shoot a couple hundred rounds the last 30 minutes of light the last afternoon hunt. Sucks but maybe he just got off work and really wanted to shoot his gun before dark. I can't fault him for it he was having fun on his land he paid good money for.
I've been listening to this knucklehead blast away for the last hr. Every time I think he's done or out of shells...BOOM! I don't even think he's actually shooting at anything. He just decided this was the perfect afternoon to come irritate the he77 outta me.
Agreed. The little place I hunt seems to be right in the middle of several gun ranges. They never shoot during the mid-day. It's always at first light or an hour before sunset. Blasting away.
Had same thing happen down south. Neighbors put their shooting range on our fence line. They had 6k acres. I'm hunting the middle of a 1500 acre pasture and they are shooting a 50 cal and blowing up tannerite at 530. I'm prolly atleast 1000 yds away and could feel the concussion. Made for some wonderful hunts. Nothing I could do, their place. Just did not make for an ideal hunt. Especially when it became a weekly occurrence.
I have dealt with that before - guys across the fence shooting ARs like crazy during prime hunting time and they did it a lot. They knew good and well we were deer hunting a fairly short distance away at the time. I understand that they have the right to do whatever they want on their own land but common courtesy would prevent me from doing the same.
