Ok....Sec. Talked to one of our lease members. He did see a cat this past spring on our place in person. I have not heard of anyone finding dead animals, nor do we have any pics. We can't be far at all from your place. Hope you smoke it!
The rest of the story for those in the area.
We sent pics to the TP&W biologist we work with on our MLD and he said he has confirm pics of the "same cat" east of Junction about 2 weeks ago. He was on our place (game camera pics) in the summer ( no kills), and came back first of Oct. then we hadn't seen him again until he started killing in late Oct..
Only1 deer in Oct. around the 17th wasn't sure it was the cat, then 2 kills in the last 2 weeks but no more pics yet.

Why didnt you just set up a blind on the kill the day you found it and sit all night with a hog light?? Ill come sit all night on a kill with my bow if you find one. LOL
THats how they hunt leopards so dont see why it wouldnt work for a lion
The first kill we didn't realize what we were looking at, the second we had a difference of opinion, I was saying ML 2 others were saying Bob cat, and so they moved the kill, and this last one we weren't there, but the ranch hand set up cameras to try and get a hot trail so the dogs could run him down, so far no luck with the dogs. Goat pens are built towers setup and we'll start in the tonight. Headed down in just a little bit.
