Turned Louisville around???? Petrino was doing pretty good there before leaving and strong taking over and playing a part in a terrible season. Strong had 1 really good year there. He did well all in all, but by no means turned them around.

Sumlin wouldn't be where he is without Jff either, but what has strong done to make you think he's such a good coach? Please explain. Because Texas is Pathetic under strong. There sure are some idiotic burnt orange posters here too.

Did anyone call Charlie "elite"? Maybe I missed it. He's been disappointing, no doubt...but he's got another year to get it right.

It's not like he was handed a Heisman qb, an elite receiver, and an NFL offensive line....

Kinda like the guy you never heard of that coached at SLC for 3 yrs before Dodge Just giving you a hard time. I just don't understand not giving him at least 4 years to prove his worth? If there is not significant improvement in 4 yrs, then go another route. It's not that hard. It's just a reaction from a 'now' society.

Most Texas fans feel this way. We like what we are seeing even though some setbacks have happened. I'm still trusting the process and think he will build something good at Texas.

Every coach is made by a great QB with a good OL and a guy that can catch the ball. Look at Mack for instance, when he had VY and Colt he was doing a heck of a job, but once he missed on the QBs in those next couple of classes he didn't fair so well.

As my dad always says, when I had guys with a lot of talent it's easy, when I'm not so talented that's when I do my best coaching and have to work the hardest
