Couple this with funding the SEZ enclosure, new tennis facility and new basketball arena and the big money guys have a strong voice right now.
I'm reminded of Mack relaying his conversation with DKR the day after the 2006 Rose Bowl when DKR told him to enjoy the win because some of them will hate you again tomorrow.
Proud of my school and my degree but there's no denying we have one of the most fickle screwed up fan bases in the Country.

I'm not saying Charlie isn't one(time will tell), but there are less GREAT head coaches out there than there are storied programs. It is vital that he surrounds himself with good coaches/personnel in order to right the ship. This will be the most important recruitment this offseason for him IMO.
And then some IMO. It's make or break for Charlie and will add or subtract years to the turn around on the field either way. Have to believe Charlie will get a blank check to match the highest paid assistant in the Country if not more. No excuses

I'm hoping they keep Traylor and convince Norvell to go back to WR coach. I'd be fine if they fired the rest.

He's just a guy I have a hunch is going to make a big mark in college ball and I'd hate to see him do it elsewhere after wasting his talent at UT under the Watson/Norvell mess
If you listen to fan speak most chatter is for Cumbie or Sterling Gilbert.

Also, Hi everyone. I am new here, this is my very first post actually. Brand new to bow hunting and hunting in general. Will be getting a bow shortly, practice, practice, practice and get ready for next season opener.
Looking forward to being active on here and taking in all I can!

I don't think Herman is any bigger risk than hiring a guy that's been a head coach for 4 years with decent success, ie Strong or Sumlin. And he's potentially a really special coach.

IMO Traylor was more innovative than Dodge was at SLC, but I haven't watched Westlake much.
I think Dodge took the wrong job at UNT but who knows. Some guys just don't make it at the next level and Traylor could be one of those guys but I wouldn't bet against him.Last edited by bdchorn; 11-17-2015, 06:20 PM.
