    AT&T unlimited data

How many of you guys and gals have gotten rid of it and regretted it? Going over all my stuff. The wife and i could switch to a 25 gig a month value shared program and save about 65$ a month. Ran the number and we never went over 25 gigs in a month. Im just really hesitant to give up my unlimited data

Thinking thats what I should have done. They are only doing 50% more data now. not 2x's

I have unlimited on 4 phones. I have not given it up just because they try so hard to get me to do so. Do they really want to save me money?

I just gave it up two weeks ago. Wasn't doing me any good. Got a better monthly deal without it.

Good buddy of manages a store and after looking my stuff over told me I was just wasting money on it. I guess if you really use tons of data it could be better to keep it

I'm still on the unlimited plan. Not sure if it's true but I was told if you go through att to upgrade your phone they won't do it if you still have unlimited. Not sure if it's true just what I was told by a friend, said he went to AT&T store and they said he had to pay full price, he then went to best buy and they upgraded him like normal.
I think I'm due for my upgrade in December so I'll find out for myself.

I had it for years but it slowed down a lot after I got over 5gb. We switched as a family to the 30gb for the price of 15gb and we have rollover ever month.

I gave it up on our phones a couple months ago. It was so hard to do but I'm very glad I did it. I looked at our data usage for the last 2 years and between my wife and I, we never had a month over 3.7GB of data usage. I switched us to unlimited text, talk and a 5GB data plan (we have 4 phones, 2 that are business lines) and by dropping the unlimited data and going to the unlimited talk/text plan we are saving $90/month. My only regret is not doing it sooner.

I had unlimited for many years. Working where I do now in west Texas att is useless so I switched Verizon and have their 20gig plan that I share with my daughter. Between the two of us, and me using my phone as a hotspot a lot on my laptop for school work I've never come close to going over. No regrets at all.

its not a unlimited plan anymore. its a unlimited access.... but at 5 gigs they throttle your speed way down. i argued with them for years. unlimited is without limits--- they have a lawsuit going on right now because of the throttling.... throttling is limiting
