I just finished a bowl for a late lunch. Have 2 more packets in the cabinet... Saving them for a rainy day or sooner!

Letting the meat stew for a while really helps with the flavor. The meat will continue to pickup the spices as they breakdown. As said above let it sit in a fridge for a day or so and you will have yourself believing you could win a cookoff!

I make big batches and freeze it. Comes out like it was fresh batch.

btw - whats taken you so long to make home cooked chili? Well that's too long!

My wife will start on it in the morning and cook it all day. Sampling is legal as long as you don't get caught.

I didn't do Ragin Blaze, I have my own recipe & cooked a pot on sat. I was going duck hunting and didn't know when I would be back, so I started it before I left. It cooked from about 5 until 5:30 pm.... Low & slow in a crock pot.

By the way I don't brown my meat, senseless waste of time if you are cooking it for 6 hours anyway...

I do have some Ragin Blaze I plan on cooking & following the recipe the next time I cook some

adding Zing Zang takes the chili to a whole new level

I agree on letting refrigerate overnight as it's even better the next day

all orders include cooking directions and a thank you note, if you need directions just PM me and I'll send them your way

                        thanks

edit .... I find browning the meat adds more flavor with all the crusty stuff left in bottom of pot

de-glaze pot and this makes some gravy with flavor for the chili

                        sample inet pics below

Chili mix is only $3.99. Shipping is a little high but believe me it's worth it!
