I guess I'm the odd man out here I ship 3 to 5 items a week thru USPS and they have always delivered on time or within a day that it was suppose to be delivered.

I ship hundreds of packages every year with USPS priority mail and have never had a problem. It's one if the only things the government dose a decent job at in my experience.

USPS is just like all the other government agencies. They suck!

Without USPS, UPS and FedEx would be astronomically expensive. again, i'm not advocating for the postal service. most people just don't realize how much of the heavy lifting the USPS is doing for the private companies.

i don't know what the right answer is

Oh without a doubt prices would jump, but ups could do it if they wanted to. Luckily they don't lol

i just ordered a new scope and the dang thing hasn't even left the usps facility and it has been 4 days. I'm starting to get upset and i was wondering why midwayusa started to ship usps now. Every order i have from them came from ups within 4 days of clicking "place order"

That's just flat out ignorant! Major fail there, no doubt.

USPS tracking is worth nothing, for the most part. Just go by the 'delivered by' date. It is far from being real time, have even seen it 6 days off & I have the item in my hand already! 'Delivery date' is what you should look @.

That had to be intentional on their part.
There's no way anyone is that stupid and still able to walk and breath at the same time.

I do agree their tracking system is usually always behind, but I've had good luck with them. I ordered a new rest, sight, and arrows last Friday and they are all showing to be here towards the end of this week. I really hope it doesn't turn into the crap yall have dealt with. I'll just end up paying the higher prices at the bow shop and get them slapped on and send the online stuff back of they havn't made it by the weekend!

I ship quite a bit of stuff USPS. About 20% take longer than expected. Ive had some doozies. I had one package shoe up in CS on their tracking and sit there 3 days. I went up to ask what the deal was and was told that item just got returned to sender because the address didnt exist.

Then it showed up in my mailbox the next day....

                                Pony Express was much faster.

I agree. And Amazon uses FedEx something, where they give the package to FedEx, who in turn gives it to USPS to walk it across the country and it finally arrives 10-15 days later. Those little ponies could cross the country in less than 7 days with Indians attacking them.
