the past 3 items ive shipped or was to receive were all done within the region of texas...all 3 of them were 2 day priority express, all 3 of them took more than 10 days to arrive to the destination..im using fed ex and UPS from now on, USPS has also screwed up at least 4-5 delivery s in the past 3 months...the most incompetent business ive ever seen ran

Well if we all had to live with either USPS or UPS/FedEx going away, we would be better off with USPS going away.

One day maybe we can pull our head out of our rears and get the government out of business.

Name anything with a lot of government interference and I'll show you a jacked up business. Try calling AT&T sometime LOL Or try to talk common sense into airport security. Or stand in line at the post office. Or renew your DL.

But at least health insurance only got cheaper, faster, and more choices, since the government got involved

I've learned it take longer to get a package from Ft. Worth to Dallas than it takes to go from Ft. Worth to Denver, Colo.!!! Best to take it yourself if it involves the D/FW metromess.

I disagree ups could handle it with ease its just a simple PT driver to FR driver and add more trucks ups profited 9 billion. They could handle the flux in about 3 months time if need be

I bought a jacket from Rod and had him send it to my son in College Station. Took over 2 weeks and the reason they gave was that his name was not on the mailbox. The conversation between me and the College Station Post Office should have been recorded. They were clueless how he could have a different last name from his mom. "Uh, she remarried?" "That shouldn't make a difference." Idiots!

Just happened to me too. Ordered coon traps from guy in Iowa. Made it from Iowa to north Houston hub in two days. Took them 2.5 weeks to get from north Houston to my post office which is an hour or less away. The seller and myself both had to file inquiries to USPS for it to finally be resolved. Never again will I ship through USPS!

I sent a letter (actually a Money Order) on the 15th and it still hasn't arrived to it's destination in Vermont. I'm getting a bit concerned after reading the responses above.

Save your receipt...they lost one of mine used for a gun sale & took about two months to get reimbursed.

It's not like anyone (at USPS) will be held accountable...

                          I love there tracking

received/out for delivery (for the next how ever many days)

The upside is that they don't seem to destroy the packages nearly as bad as UPS or FedEx. Their tracking is the absolute worst but I don't recall a package taking any more time than promised. I prefer USPS over any other shipping option. Guess I've just been lucky.

Here's one. Receipt said expected delivery date 9/10/15. As seen in post #1 it was delivered on 9/19/15. Glad you've had good luck with them.
